Day Wise Travel Itinerary
- Welcome to Kochi, popularly known as “The Queen of the Arabian Sea.”
- Spend the day exploring Fort Kochi, which is renowned for its colonial history and vibrant street life. You will have the opportunity to visit the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Mattancherry Palace.
- In the evening, you may choose to witness a Kathakali dance performance (Optional) —an ancient form of storytelling through dance and music. Following your sightseeing tour, you will be driven to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cochin.
- Checkout and begin your scenic drive to Munnar, taking time along the way to appreciate the beautiful Valara Waterfall and Cheeyappara Waterfalls, among others.
- As you continue your journey to Munnar, you will check into your hotel upon arrival. After hotel check in, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Have a delightful overnight stay at the Munnar hotel.
- Today, visit Eravikulam National Park (15 km) to view endangered wild goat ‘ Nilgiri Tahr (National Park is Closed From 01 Feb to 15th Apr during breeding season). Visit Tea Museum (03Km) and the Tea factory (Closed on Mondays and Good Friday), Rose Garden, Blossom Hydel Park, Mattupetty Dam (13km), Echo Point, and Kundala Lake (28km).
- Return and overnight stay at Munnar hotel.
- After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom.
- After hotel check-in, spend the day with local sightseeing in and around Kumarakom – a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of backwater is spread over 900 sq. km.
- Choose a canoe, motor boat or houseboat (Optional) and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Overnight stay at Kumarakom hotel.
- After checkout we proceed to Varkala, so-called as “Virgin beach of Kerala”.
- Visit the Varkala Beach, Cliff Beach, Papanasanam Beach, “Sivagiri” the memorial of Late Sri Narayana Guru, the great social reformer of Kerala. Visit 1000 years old “Janardhana Swami Temple”.
- Overnight stay at Varkala hotel.
- After breakfast, you will be driven to Kovalam.
- After arriving, check into your hotel and get ready for a sightseeing tour of Kovalam. Board your transfer to visit to the iconic Lighthouse Beach and the picturesque Hawa Beach. After enjoying the scenic beaches, you will be driven back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kovalam hotel.
- The beautiful capital city of Kerala. The city sprawls on the seven low coastal hills with tree lined avenues, massive buildings, ancestral homes and a long sea coast.
- Visit Zoo, Natural history museum, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum, Science and technology museum etc. Visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple which is 16th century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is the most impressive landmark of the city.
- Also, visit Pazhavangadi Ganapati temple, Attukal devi temple if time permits. Return and overnight stay in Kovalam hotel.
- NOTE: All monuments and museums are closed on Mondays, Public holidays (Visiting time :1.00 PM to 4.45 PM)
